A Special Thank You & My Current Direction
Welcome & Thank You!
Hello everyone. I just wanted to take a brief moment of your time to extend a very warm welcome to my new email subscribers and also to say thank you to my current subscribers for sticking with me. I'm sure that you don't normally see bloggers sending out thank you(s) to their subscribers or even mentioning that they have any, but I'm not your average blogger and I don't have any desire to be like "them". I know that recently I have had allot of new subscribers and I wanted each of you to know that I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to fill in their email address and subscribe to my site. I am even more thankful that you have in some way found my humble site to be beneficial enough to you that you have decided to follow me. It is my prayer that I will continue to provide you with the kind of information that you are looking for, and that it will be information that you can use to help you become successful in your online efforts, whatever they may be. I would also like to quickly mention my suggestion form. Please feel free to suggest anything that you would like to know about or anything that you might want to know how to do on your website or blog. As soon as I have the time, I will research it (unless of course it is something that I already know about) and write an article on that topic. I would rather answer your suggestions by replying to you in the form of an article or tutorial on my site because this way it will benefit the entire community, unless you just need a quick reply.
My Latest Post Series - Has it been Information Overload?
Secondly, I would like to discuss why my latest series of posts has been focused solely on SEO & Google, and why everything that I've been writing about lately has been so technical and dry. I really hope that my latest topic area Links & Anchor Text hasn't been information overload for you. As I have previously mentioned, when I learn new ideas and techniques and when I try new things
(whether they work or not!), I will try to discuss each of those things with you in detail. I want my readers to have a chance to learn about absolutely everything that I am doing on my websites and I want you to know about whether or not it is working for me. Last year, I believe it was sometime in October, I started following a new mentor and he began to start teaching me allot of new things about SEO and what it really takes to get your website or blog ranked in the search engines. This guy is somebody that I have allot of respect for and it just so happens that he is very very good at what he does. I feel that I chose a mentor whom has morals, someone who has provided me with literal proof of his success, and most importantly he is someone who makes his living by promoting his own websites via the free, organic search results in Google (E.g. The listings that are on the left side of Google's SERPs, not the paid ones that show at the top or on the right side - PPC). This is often the hardest way for most people to make money because for most it is seemingly impossible to get your website to show up in the organic search results on Google. To most people this is a mystery, often enclosed in a mysterious shroud of secrecy that only SEO can decipher. Uhhhh, *head-roll*...that is hog-wash! I hate it for anyone that is told that lie!
Well folks, this is where the good news both for you and I comes in! My mentor is breaking down all those walls for me and showing me the way. That is why I chose to write that latest series 'Links & Anchor Text'. There are indeed allot of minor things that are involved in getting your site to rank in the organic SERPs on Google, but hopefully as you will learn from reading things such as my latest series, it's more about honesty and providing a "real benefit" to your users than it is anything else. Write your posts for your readers, not for the search engines and if you do, if your posts are truly useful and other people feel that way, then the search engines will follow suit and the next thing you know, your website will rank for all kinds of terms. However, please remember one thing, success DOES NOT happen over night! You are not going to build an extremely helpful and useful resource over night! Everything takes time, which brings me to another point that I made sometime ago here. That topic was very personal to me as you can see (read)... that is because I actually went through that in my own life.
Where we goin' next, Cap'n?
Coming up in the near future, you can expect to see the following new article(s) from me (not necessarily in this order):
I am looking forward to getting this information out to you in the near future and I am really looking forward to helping you in anyway that I can. Again, please remember to suggest something if you want a tutorial or marketing advice, and don't forget to leave a comment on any of my posts if you have a question about the topic or even if you just wanted to say hi or maybe provide some encouragement to another reader. Whichever you choose, I would welcome it as I'm sure my other readers would also. Thank you again for your interest in my site and I look forward to helping you in the near future.
Kind Regards,
Matt S. Vaden
